Director of Business Development – Sapient Interactive

As Director, Business Development – Sapient Interactive you are primarily responsible for identifying and building relationships with clients and key third party influencers that will result in the sale of Sapient Interactive services. You will be required to establish and manage sales strategy for prospects and existing customers, increase lead generation, leverage senior Sapient executives and allocate organizational resources wisely and efficiently in order to close deals and increase customer satisfaction. You will be also responsible for overseeing the development and presentation of the solution value proposition, negotiating pricing and contractual terms.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Independently identify and influence potential customers
  • Manage and influence named accounts within markets or propositions
  • Work with strategic alliance partners to drive joint business opportunities and leverage revenue growth in the territory
  • Work with internal teams to drive marketing and networking events to create new opportunities and drive customer satisfaction
  • Utilize Sapient’s sales force automation system for CRM, activity tracking and opportunity forecasting

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance or technology related field.
  • Profound experience in multi channel marketing and e-commerce sales with deep knowledge of ATL and digital sales to Senior level executives of fortune 500 companies
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas
  • Background of business development in the leading digital or integrated agency space
  • History of establishing, expanding and closing complex, multi-million dollar service engagements
  • Excellent competitive industry knowledge
  • Ability to forecast with background details supporting your assessment
  • Ability to lead a team of people through complex sales cycles
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Frequent travel to client sites
