Overview

With the aim of maximising our services to our clients the Client Services Director will provide a strategic approach to how we service all our clients. You will have a responsibility to understand the digital communications landscape alongside the broader commercial landscape and should be able to consider client and agency issues at a strategic level.

 

You will manage multiple lines of business within a single client relationship or for multiple clients. You will develop a strong understanding of clients’ marketing and business objectives and drive high-level strategic plans and objectives.

 

You will monitor efforts to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and manage internal resource allocation and costs towards profitability.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in taking Web Liquid’s offering to the next level; identifying gaps and making strategic recommendations
  • Ultimate point of accountability for key client relationships
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with all key clients at the most senior levels
  • Identify clients’ requirements and develop accountable marketing programmes to deliver business results and drive innovation for clients
  • Manage, develop and grow the Client Services team
  • Increase revenue by identifying and growing both existing business and new business opportunities
  • Stay abreast of trends in the digitally enabled world and understand the unique opportunities and challenges that affect clients’ business and marketing initiatives
  • Be publically facing, sharing foresights both internally and externally from existing clients by developing key accounts
  • Ensure achievement of financial goals by revenue forecasting, profitability management, and resource planning

 

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Full understanding of the digital marketplace
  • At least 5 years relevant industry work experience
  • A talent for people management as well as excellent communication skills
  • Exemplary client service skills, with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships
  • Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Strong marketing thinking and understanding of the communications disciplines

 

Beneficial:

  • Degree in Marketing or Advertising
  • Fluent in a European Language; especially German, French or Italian
  • Travel industry background an advantage
  • A solid experience working with media and creative departments
