Job Description
Buyagift.com is the UK’s largest gift experience company with over 2500 gifts and experiences and generating turnover in excess of £18million. We have been established for 9 years and employ over 70 people. We are part of a multi million pound international group of gift experience companies. We are entering a new and exciting phase of our growth and we are looking for an accomplished and experienced CRM Manager to join our successful marketing team. As well as managing existing customers the role is also heavily focused on new customer and email address acquisition.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY OBJECTIVES
Driving the Buyagift email marketing programme forwards to achieve aggressive growth targets.
Running competitions, promotions and working with data agencies to grow the existing Buyagift email database.
Improving on our existing customer retention scheme to improve our repeat purchase rate.
Produce, monitor and report findings from customer surveys to the management team
Catalogue production, distribution and reporting
Traditional media advertising
Driving PR and promotions to increase awareness of Buyagift
You will manage a small team of established key marketing team members
Driving CRM in the business – suggesting new ideas and implementing agreed projects
Candidate Requirements
· Five years marketing experience
· Minimum three years ecommerce experience
· Minimum two years people management experience
· Experience in producing and distributing catalogues
· Proficient with using Microsoft Office particularly Excel
· Analytical and data driven
· Strong business writing skills: produces high quality documents
· Demonstrates a structured and methodical way of working
· Exhibits a high level of attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Strong customer telephone and face to face skills
· A confident and articulate presenter
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate past success in the above responsibilities. You will need to come full of new ideas and be able to deliver projects to deadline. We are looking for an individual who will drive this area of the business for us and deliver the results we require.
