Job Description
The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Coordinator to help continue to develop and enhance our presence on the web. The post is offered on a fixed term contract until the next General Election and will form a key part of our New Media Campaigning.
1. Work closely with members of the New Media Campaigns team to ensure structured co-ordination of email campaigns
2. Delivery of email campaigns including content collation, testing & deployment of emails and performance evaluation.
3. Manage email lists and email marketing data analysis with responsibility for profiling, segmentation and targeting.
4. Help devise and manage test strategies on initiatives to optimise email marketing
5. Responsibility for the creation, testing, analysis and execution of online advertising campaigns
6. Monitor online advertising inventory and provide reports and analysis on an on-going basis
7. Maintain an understanding of the emerging trends in email marketing and online advertising and develop techniques to ensure that Labour is maximising opportunity in these areas
Candidate Requirements
Experience/Knowledge
Experience in email marketing or online advertising
Experience in online / digital metrics & reporting and translating this into actionable results
Knowledge and understanding of online campaigning techniques
Knowledge and understanding of the Labour Party organisation
Skills
Proven organisational and project management skills along with the ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
Good written and oral communications skills
Strong team-player
Ability to work on own initiative
Attention to detail
