Job Description

Redactive Media Group is the UK’s leading business-to-business and membership organisation contract publishing company.  Reporting to the head of digital and a key member of the digital team you’ll work across our diverse portfolio of magazine websites which have huge online potential. This is an exciting time to be joining Redactive when we are increasing our digital capabilities.

With your strong track record in search engine optimization and extensive digital marketing experience you’ll use web analytics and competitor SEO bench-marking to formulate and deliver strategies that quickly increase traffic.  Having set up and managed a number of successful project teams simultaneously, you’ll have the confidence and credibility to inspire our sales and editorial teams, and external clients, to strengthen their brand’s online presence.

Although focusing on natural search, experience of PPC would be an advantage. You won’t need to be a techie, but will need a clear understanding of the technical side of SEO – our sites have a lot of great content and it’s essential Google, and other search engines, keep on crawling and indexing it.

Clearly communicating ideas to improve on-page optimization, suggesting new content and modifications to existing content, carrying out keyphrase analysis, and running link-building campaigns are essential to the success of this role. You’ll be expected to use information from Google Analytics (and other reporting software) to identify and analyse problems and opportunities, and recommend how we continue to grow our digital offerings.

You’ll be able to exploit social media, helping our editorial teams develop our magazines’ presence on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter etc, as well building up online communities. You’ll also need an understanding of email marketing - e-newsletters play an increasingly important role in driving traffic to our sites, and you’ll focus on key metrics such as sign-ups, opens and click-thrus.

Experience of marketing and reporting on job boards would also be an advantage.

We offer excellent benefits including a contributory pension scheme, a personal development plan, 28 days’ holiday and subsidised gym membership.  Based in bright modern offices, the company culture is friendly, informal and creative, with an emphasis on high quality work.
