Job Description
3i is a FTSE 100 international private equity company, with a network of offices across Europe, the US and Asia.
The Digital Media team, sat within our larger Marketing department, consists of four people. The team manages all digital media communications and projects for 3i Group and other listed 3i-advised investment companies.
Reporting to the Digital Media Manager, you would be joining 3i Group plc’s Marketing team. Your responsibilities would be varied and include:
Core Accountabilities:
- Day-to-day responsibility for the 3i corporate website and all the content presented within it.
- Support regional website administrators and marketers who run the ten 3i local country websites (many of these are local language sites), providing content advice and technical support.
- Email marketing support - this may include helping colleagues use the email building system, resizing images, liaising with external supplier to launch HTML emails.
- Co-ordinate individual projects with external suppliers, and will oversee technical support services provided by external suppliers
- Support and advise on the appropriate use of imagery online and in email marketing. This may include administrative tasks to ensure images are correctly stored and labelled, as well as resizing of images for use.
- Upload content to the International 3i.com website
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with investors, content owners and all stakeholders throughout the business.
- Ensure good links with Group Communications and provide technical support on request under the supervision of the Digital Media Manager.
Candidate Requirements

- Email marketing experience
- Knowledge of online marketing practices
- Practical experience of running online campaigns
- Knowledge and understanding of e-CRM
- Understanding of social networking and web 2.0
Experience of at least one CMS package - Knowledge of HTML
Basic Photoshop - desirable - Web metrics – desirable
- Good eye for detail, excellent written English along with a good eye for design.
