Job Description
IQPC is looking for a Director of Online Community Development to grow our online presence of industry specific B2B websites.

The focus is to grow our communities through e-marketing (audience development), strategic partnerships (content, marketing and product expansion), improved content, business development (& sales management), new product development (webinars, online learning etc), and other community features.
The Director is a results-oriented individual with experience in e-Marketing and web site management, including B2B online community development, database marketing strategies and internet-related promotions/products. The role leads our online community development efforts for industry focused B2B sites in strategic and creative development, implementation and measurement of all online and marketing activities (Email, SEO, SEM, and other online promotions). In addition, the director is responsible for developing the email newsletter marketing strategy and providing end-to-end management of industry eNewsletters, utilizing effective online communications to integrate with event marketing programs to extend and support the overall IQPC brand experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Site management – overall site management for our portal pages, including interface standards, release schedules, site interactivity and lead generation
- Business Development – find new online revenue generation opportunities, work with strategic industry partners to grow the community and run the overall business.
- eMarketing – work with our marketing team to develop e-marketing initiatives through site improvements; conduct A/B tests of e-marketing efforts, development and deployment of eNewsletters and event marketing integration
- Site analytics – manage all site analytics and closely measure performance of site activity, promotions and usability
- Cross department collaboration –works closely with IT, web developers and event marketing managers to take online projects from conception to production
- Content – ensures that web content, web offers and online elements are continually evaluated, updated and enhanced, creates and executes strategic media/content partnerships for site stickiness
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s level education or equivalent
- 3 years online B2B publishing, marketing or community development experience
- Strong understanding of Internet best practices and standards with a proven ability in the creation of quality web campaigns including email, SEM, SEO, Web Analytics, and online advertising.
- CRM and/or enterprise software experience highly desirable
- Working knowledge of web interface design and multimedia
- Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
- 2 years people management experience
- Understanding of Web 2.0 environment and evolving Web tools used to improve online presence and marketing efforts
- Eligible to work in the UK
