Job Description
We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to work with one of the leading brand names in Financial Services.
Our client is one of the most trusted consumer finance institutions in the UK. They run a multi-channel operation with branches based nationwide as well as an award winning online proposition. The quest for brilliance in this area has created a need for a number of high-profile roles as they look to further enhance the effectiveness of the web channel.
You will be accountable for helping deliver products, propositions and sales experiences to customers; whilst achieving targets. This will involve working closely with many areas of the business, in particular the Product, Marketing & Online teams.
The role will include enhancing the online sales experiences working with other departments as appropriate, to maximise sales potential. With specific responsibility for improving the product information and tools, improving the onsite conversion rates, and ensuring efficient post application fulfilment; delivering an excellent end to end experience.
You will analyse online traffic flows/paths and conversion funnels and identifying and fixing key drop off points, to optimise conversion and customer experience. You will also act as the lead on small to medium sized projects as and when required. With responsibility for shaping the online customer proposition, business requirements and user experience; ensuring that the service meets business objectives and the needs of the consumer. Naturally, there will be ongoing reviews of competitors’ online propositions, tools & processes and making relevant recommendations.
Candidate Requirements
Successful candidates will be commercial E-Commerce Managers with experience in Financial Services, Retail or a related industry. You will need an excellent understanding of user experience, web usability and web analytics with a proven record of optimising conversion rates. You will also posses the ability to create online information architectures, user scenarios, user flow diagrams & wireframes.
