Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our e-Commerce team as an e-Commerce Marketing Manager reporting to our Head of e-Commerce. The main purpose of this role is to develop and deliver the online marketing strategy that drives the acquisition of new customers whilst effectively retaining existing customers.
- Responsible for developing and delivering the online marketing strategy that drives the acquisition of new customers whilst effectively retaining existing customers.
- Adopt a strategic approach to the planning and implementation of UK email marketing, PPC campaigns, SEO, effective affiliate marketing and social media activity
- Manage multiple agencies to deliver online marketing objectives, within budget
- Increase email base via in-store and partnership opportunities and develop email campaigns specifically aimed at optimum conversion by channel type
- Develop a detailed understanding our customer profile, their wants and needs
- Identify opportunities to encourage retention, through e-CRM and targeted content to specific customer segments including activation of prospect lists and reactivation of dormant customers
- Manage the magalogue programme (currently 4 per year) ensuring optimum performance amongst all customer segments
- Manage the e-Commerce senior marketing co-ordinator to ensure delivery on all e-Marketing implementation
- Look for opportunities to potentialise online sales via effective partnerships with Offline Marketing, Retail and third parties
- As part of the strategy, constantly look to trial and test other online marketing techniques (display, offline/paper, mobile etc.) to continue maximising the most efficient use of the marketing budget
- Analyse KPIs such as buying patterns, basket size, AOV to identify trends and recommend activity to generate sales growth
- Work with Group e-Commerce divisions to ensure consistency across all online marketing reporting.
- Manage weekly online marketing/KPI channel reporting
Candidate Requirements
- Previous management experience of online marketing within and e-Commerce team, preferably in a High Street fashion retailer
- Experience of managing multiple agency relationships
- Experience of developing and driving an online marketing strategy
- Commercial focus
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous man-management skills with a view to developing potential
- Persuasive and influential
- Team player
- Ability to work under own initiative and to self imposed deadlines
- Adaptable and flexible to a fast paced environment
- Passion and enthusiasm for e-Commerce
- Analytics experience, i.e. Omniture
