Job Description
We are looking for an e-Commerce Web Designer. Reporting in to the Head of E-commerce, the main purpose of this role is to ensure that the Evans online shop is commercially focussed, whilst upholding the Evans brand values and personality, enabling an easy and exciting shopping experience for our customer. The successful candidate will provide the Creative/Art direction and design of all Evans’ online material and translate the Evans instore experience to the online shopper
Key Responsibilities
Weekly redesign of homepage and up to 3 x emails
Design concepts and ideas for site development
Design updates to all site pages
Micro-site build to support campaign initiatives
Art direction for still life photo shoots with the direction and support of the Creative Director
Design of gif banner ads Mpus/skyscrapers for online marketing
Creation of e-catalogues (e.g. Holiday shop)
Driver of innovation/propose new techniques to keep the site fresh and relevant for its target audience
Ensure synergy between online and offline communications; translating the evans brand & in-store designs for the website
Candidate Requirements
Previous web design experience, preferably from a retail background
Innovative, with a passion for fashion and retail
Good commercial awareness
Excellent communication & influencing skills at all levels
Prioritisation, organisation and time management skills
Ability to work on own initiative & self motivation
Confidence and energy
Creative problem solving
