Job Description

The E-Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the management of implementation activities around strategic e-marketing initiatives that enable the delivery of PA’s marketing plan.

Website editing
• Source, add and edit content (text, images and video) on paconsulting.com and other sites using content management systems, HTML and Flash. Monitor other users’ activity.
• Co-ordinate homepage updates – liaise with marketing on text, images and video; update the homepage planner and provide status updates; update the homepage daily.
• Respond to and forward external website enquiries on to relevant marketing members.


Email marketing
• Support marketing in the design, creation and sending of email marketing campaigns. (Interim task until new email marketing tool has been implemented).
• Supervise email marketing activity of users, including monitoring frequency and volume of emails sent.
• Work with the E-Marketing Manager and E-Marketing Advisor to implement a new email marketing tool. (Interim task).
E-marketing campaigns - execution
• Provide functional, design and editorial support to web and email marketing users.
• Resolve e-marketing queries and issues with the E-Marketing Advisor and Group Systems.
• Work with the E-Marketing Team to develop and implement e-marketing tools and techniques.
Market knowledge
• Identify technology, innovation and the latest techniques in internet and e-marketing. Understand PA’s ability to exploit these.
Internal marketing
• Provide training on e-marketing tools and techniques plus update training material. Identify other training needs as appropriate.
• Reach out to make marketing materials available to PA and promote e-materials in PA buildings.
Strategy and planning
• Work with the E-Marketing Manager and E-Marketing Advisor to implement best practices and processes.
• Support the E-Marketing Manager and E-Marketing Advisor with the e-marketing strategy.
• Provide general support to the E-Marketing Manager, and provide occasional cover for the E-Marketing Advisor.

 

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:
• Degree level or equivalent level
• Recognised/accredited Marketing qualification with specific e-marketing focus
Experience:
• Proven business development and marketing experience in professional services marketing
• Hands-on experience of e-marketing
• Familiarity with online design, writing specifically for the web plus development and implementation processes
• Experience in e-marketing training and support for key people
• Understanding of effectiveness of full communications mix – including direct and online marketing, client events, PR.
• Experience in demonstrating results
Skills:
• Knowledge of latest techniques and technology in internet and e-marketing
• Ability to build strong working relationships across the firm network and marketing function. Networking skills
• Strong delivery and negotiation skills and ability to quantify results
Personal qualities:
• Ability to inspire confidence and assurance with marketing colleagues
• Ability to develop own capabilities; team player
• Self-starter, determined with drive and initiative and willingness to challenge, professional approach
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, presentation and persuasive skills at all levels
• Analyse data qualitatively and quantitatively and report upwards
• Highly organised. Ability to work to deadlines and multi-task
