About us:
We specialise in leading brand jewellery and watches. Like the brands we sell, we’re an established name with an excellent reputation for quality – we’ve been selling watches and jewellery for over 70 years.
The Role:
An exciting, new position has arisen within our organisation for a well-organised and efficient individual to assist in our busy, fast paced and rapidly developing ecommerce department.
Initially the successful candidate will be trained to understand, the day to day department procedures and our customer service policy, then progress to providing support, as directed, by the ecommerce manager in implementing and carrying out development projects for the progression of the department.
First and foremost this role is for an assistant to the Ecommerce manager, supporting the team to drive the growth of our developing websites. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with third party website development and creation companies and online marketing and affiliates, to ensure that all projects are being carried out in a timely and efficient manner while communicating with the ecommerce manager.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for understanding all basic functions of their fellow team mates’ roles in order to provide extra support when needed.
Candidate Requirements
Key Skills:
• Experience in web site content maintenance.
• Experience or an understanding of online marketing
• Computer literacy with excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop
• Diary management skills
• Excellent written and spoken English for website content and customer emails/calls.
Experience:
Previous experience of working within an ecommerce department is essential as the successful candidate will be assisting with the running and managing of our current websites as well as managing the content, ensuring that the information is actuate for both the consumer and our own system.
In addition to this some experience in customer service is preferable as previously stated the successful candidate will be assisting with the basic functions of the day to day running of the department, including customer service enquiries via email and telephone, as well as processing orders through our customised processing system.
The successful candidate will also provide support to any online marketing activities devised by third party companies and as such experience of the following would be useful;
• Google Ad-word Co-ordination - PPC campaigns on Google
• Affiliate Campaign Support - acting as the first point for
affiliates, co-ordinating new campaigns, communication with affiliates,
banners etc
• Web Marketing banners - maintaining the banner creative schedule. Co-ordinating uploading and updating of banners.
• Social Media Management - Launching profiles & blogs across the key Social Networking sites (Facebook / Twitter).
• Email Marketing Co-ordination - manage database, create campaigns/newsletters in Dotmailer and reporting.
