Job Description

Miller Harris the Independent luxury fragrance brand is looking for an Ecommerce Manager to cover current manager's maternity leave (atleast 6 months). The candidate should have at least 4 years experience, either running or heavily involved in an ecommerce business, ideally in the luxury sector. Knowledge of working with a CMS system would be preferred and managing external Agencies and budgets is essential. 

Responsibilities include;

CMS updates to the website, including monthly Marketing activity to fall in line with the off-line marketing programme.

Management of sales and other data reporting, presenting stats to the brand. 

Implementing and planning online Marketing initiatives within tight budgets, constantly striving to achieve weekly targets set by the brand. 

Managing monthly email programme, from copy creation, to briefing external email supplier, supplying data for broadcast and analysing reports. 

Managing Search marketing activities.

Adapting the off-line PR programme to secure online editorial placements on key websites. 

Pursuing and implementing joint promotional activity with like-minded companies, with a view to building the Miller Harris customer base.

Managing the company data collection system, providing customer data for Marketing initiatives. Ensuring store staff are fully trained and reaching data capture targets. 

Ensuring online and mail order customer queries are dealt with, working with 2 other supporters on this.

Working with the fulfilment house to ensure all orders are processed in good time, dealing with stock queries and managing the website OOS system. 

Managing the French and US websites, implementing global initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

The role will suit somebody who is keen to be part of a small team of an emerging brand, willingness to roll sleeves up and get hands dirty is essential - the Ecommerce function is a one member team! Online performance is a heavy focus for the Miller Harris brand.

 

This role sits within the Marketing Team and the candidate would report to the Managing Director with dotted lines to the founders of the business.
