Job Description
Job Purpose
To manage the implementation of online acquisition programs in order to drive brand KPIs & excellent ROI via search engine optimization and paid search activity.
Key Accountabilities/Key Result Areas
- Manage the business relationships with all related partners, including the paid search agency.
- Implement via the agency the online acquisition strategy for the brands, ensuring KPIs for driving sales and starters are met.
- Liaise with the brand teams to produce promotional plans for all programs.
- Trade the offer on the search engines alongside the agency, building keyword lists, forming bidding strategies, reacting to competitors & seasonal opportunities.
- Monitor the search engine listings on a daily basis to ensure good exposure and instigate remedial action where necessary.
- Evaluate and analyse the weekly, monthly and yearly search performance results against budgets and produce forecasts by traffic source.
- Evaluate and source new traffic generation & online marketing initiatives that are profitable and attractive to the business.
- Manage the evaluation and renewal of contracts alongside NMP and in conjunction with brand requirements.
- Provide expertise, support and guidance to the brands on search engine campaigns. Actively encouraging the sharing of knowledge and results across the group.
- Provide the internal brand teams with excellent quality customer service, identifying & implementing best practice.
- Manage the relevant part of the eCommerce acquisition budget & communicate regularly to the brands.
Candidate Requirements
- Marketing or business related degree.
- Minimum of 2yrs new media/ eCommerce experience within online marketing & search engine marketing.
- 3yrs commercial experience
- Experience of managing & implementing online campaigns via paid search, including awareness of Google, Overture and Espotting interfaces.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make recommendations to the business in a structured, professional manner.
- Results driven and trading focused.
- High level of personal motivation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to change.
- Excellent attention to detail.
