Job Description

eCommerce is the fastest growing channel at RS and a key part of the Group Strategy.
eCommerce provides our customers with an improved service offer through the provision of tailored information and marketing programmes, the rapid introduction of new products and access to a wider product range.
The Analytics team is a part of the wider eCommerce Customer Experience team within a Global eCommerce function. Electrocomponents eCommerce business is already >55% of the revenues of the Electrocomponents Group and we have an ambition to grow this to 70% and beyond. The Customer Experience team is responsible for delivering excellence in the online customer experience for all RS customers. As a part of the analytics team you will be a major contributor to identifying opportunities to drive growth and measuring the success of initiatives across our global footprint.

About the role
You’ll be supporting the eCommerce Marketing and Offer Development teams with analysis and insight to enable continuous improvement of online customer journeys, driving conversion improvements.

Candidate Requirements

What we’re looking for
• Comprehensive experience in eCommerce analytics with a proven record of delivering actionable insight and influencing the organisation to change
• Experience of working with one or more leading eCommerce analytics tools such as Coremetrics, Omniture or WebTrends
• Experience of using statistical analysis and data manipulation tools to handle large sets of data from multiple sources (i.e. SPSS, Access, advanced excel)
• Desire to undertake further professional qualifications and stay up to date with developments in web and marketing analytics
• Minimum relevant degree level qualification (e.g. Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent
