Job Description

Our client is a pace setter in providing advanced media and telecommunication services. With activities in 12 countries in Europe and over $12 billion in revenues it is one of the main players in the media-telecom industry.

They are currently looking for a Senior Manager Online Sales & Marketing to join their Marketing Department.

Main Responsibilities

•    Define Country Strategy on with internal team in Corp & lead on a Country level– Annual & Quarterly. Current & Projected Status of Traffic & Conversion. Synacor to be defined by OSM Director
•    Aligning & setting financial targets with Corp SMSC & Country S&M VPs
-    Defining KPIs with Countries for understanding of what is required to meet targets
-    Lead Country teams responsible for forward planning country strategy, work with
-    OSM Director & to ensure consultants are prioritized and aligned with execution strategy.
-    Take leading role in Country OSIP Audits
-    Prepare strategy & roadmap for Online Sales Improvement Program (OSIP) execution ensuring OSM as a stakeholder and effective execution of OSIP.
-    Prepare and Deliver Senior Management presentations of Country Specific Strategies

Online Marketing and Sales

•    Develop, Enhance and Implement an Online Sales and Marketing Strategy
•    Define and Set Sales targets per Country
•    Develop online marketing and sales plans together with countries to meet Targets

Driving traffic and conversion of portals

•    Creating Online Promotional Strategies.
•    Auditing country specific media and creative planning.
•    Work with country on creative needs, aligning approved vendors (creative agency) from Corp working with countries
•    Improving the Order Process
•    Increasing the relevant Conversion Ratio’s: visitor to RFS check and visitor to Order.
•    Review of Country Budgets and channel split
•    Manage and Enhance Online Reporting to track Performance against Targets
•    Analyze Performance and Develop Improvement Plans where needed

Portal development

•    Based on analysis of the online results, make recommendations to the Portal Development team within the Product department, to improve the Customer Journey with a focus on the conversion process.
•    Conducts audits of creative design, working with MVT manager to design sets of standards and benchmark performance metrics that evaluate design/strategy change.

General

•    Join regular and ad-hoc strategic reviews on a range of with online topics
•    Point of contact with countries on web matters – facilitate that development team has the contacts and information required from countries.
•    Establish country specific budget guidelines and monitor performance metrics of all portal assets
•    Work with our countries to implement an ongoing evaluation program to review and improve the effectiveness of the web programs at the country level.
•    Implement a comprehensive reporting and analysis program at the corporate and country level to enable the company to better evaluate and improve the effectiveness of its web programs.
•    Identification, sharing and implementation of the company and Industry web and self care best practice on company wide basis
•    Manage, develop and motivate the corporate web marketing and self care teams

 

Candidate Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in sophisticated online marketing and sales organization
•    Experienced in the telecom market (ISP, Telco, supplier, etc.)
•    Strategically and results driven
•    Fluent in English
•    Strong Experience in the international field (pan-euro)
•    Experience in a corporate environment of an international company
•    Technical online knowledge is a recommendation
•    Result, good communicator and enthusiastic about the Web
•    Knowledge about SEA, SEO, online advertising, online analytics, loyalty programmes, direct email marketing, Affiliate Marketing etc. is a requirement
•    Analytical skills (e.g. interpretation of reports and definition of measurements based on the findings)
•    Team player attitude
•    Pro-active work attitude
