Job Description

The Senior Digital Manager is a critical guardian of the Fudge brand equity, responsible for the fudge sites globally. These sites are crucial branding vehicle as well as supporting the international expansion of the brand online. Demonstrating passion for and understanding of Fudge’s core values and identity is therefore critical to success in this role.

Principal Accountabilities:

1) Work with the Digital team and the Brand team to drive and execute the global strategy to build brand integrity.

2) Create and maintain the digital marketing calendar ensure communication to all relevant teams domestically and internationally

3) Define the brand’s ongoing social strategy

4) Work alongside external social media partners to ensure these spaces are on strategy and appropriately managed

5) Monitor & manage Search Engine Optimisation where relevant
• Work with external Agency to monitor PPC campaigns and enhance and adjust regularly to increase sales
• Work with the relevant agency to boost SEO throughout the website. Monitor natural search rankings and adjust tagging with each monthly refresh

6) Update and maintain digital landscape in collaboration with relevant agencies and departments.
• Ensure consistency with brand’s monthly focus and reflect the marketing strategy while ensuring that we provide online customers with reasons to keep returning to the site on a regular basis
• Plan site development and functionality
• Work with the planning team to monitor inventory levels and oversee appropriate adjustments to the site (i.e. manage out-of-stock levels, discontinued products).

7) Define strategies for site innovation, testing new initiatives and monitoring results in conjunction with counterparts on other portfolio brands

8) Provide innovative Marketing support for other departments in the Fudge business to push the brand offering as a whole to customers

9) Devise and execute strategies to recruit new customers to the brand and drive opt-in registrations

10) Identify latest and most relevant digital tools available to drive the business.

11) Use the website’s analytics function to track and analyse marketing results, analyse classification & key item sales, site traffic and conversion. Recap on specific site programming efforts (ie-product launches, new site features, etc.)

12) Assure Fudge Digital Budget is respected

Internal & External Relationships:

1) Manage assistant with the following responsibilities:
• Update text, prices and information for products and product areas through the Content Management System
• Update Customer Service team on all online activities and work with them to resolve any customer service issues
• Monitor competitor websites and provide regular competitor reviews

2) Develop relationships with like-minded partners to create Digital Marketing campaigns to build awareness and drive traffic

3) Build online relationships with our key department store partners

Candidate Requirements

Knowledge/Qualifications:
• University degree

Technical/Professional Experience:
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, required experience in Digital/ E Marketing
