Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Content & User Experience specialist to support the Head of eBusiness in the New Media department in a senior role within the team. This role is based at Yell’s Head Office in Reading working in the eChannel team. This is a new team that is being expanded to meet the needs of an emerging online sales and service channel for the business. This is an exciting new development, which is creating the foundations for a media rich e-commerce and e-care/service experience for our advertiser customers (B2B). This role is critical to the business strategy by developing a compelling (and award-winning) interface that will attract new customers, increase revenue and site usage allowing us to increase user advocacy.
The role purpose is to lead the site content development of the eChannel and act as guardian for the user interface and channel brand (including developing and gatekeeping the eChannel style guide/tone of voice within the business). The post holder will develop a content strategy for the channel that drives business objectives, and ensures this fits into the overall brand communications strategy. You will work with 3rd parties and internal content suppliers and user experience teams to identify, commission and manage through the implementation of the channel’s content roadmap. You willact as ‘curator’ for our advertisers’s content experience on the channel, by prioritizing and managing a variety of content sources.

Candidate Requirements
The role holder will need extensive and deep knowledge of web site content management, editorial and production as well as experience of developing rich media content within a branded web environment, including commissioning copywriters. You should have ability to interpret a user vision and translate into copy. Excellent levels of literacy and you should have previous line management experience. You will need excellent understanding of analytical tools to assess content performance, ability to analyse and interpret data. Social media experience: set up forums (3rd party), moderation, business processes associated with successful management to drive defined business objectives.
