Job Description
The Head of marketing will lead in defining the key propositions that meet the needs of our target market, differentiate against the competition and that deliver profitable revenue to the business. They will also be responsible for taking these propositions to market through the development and execution of marketing communications programmes to improve the overall awareness of the business amongst our target market and to support the sales process.
Determine the core customer needs amongst our target market.
Determine the overall company proposition and the positioning of the key product areas.
Assessing the competition’s capabilities and with the product managers build the sales and marketing positioning to compete effectively against them.
Creating and executing our marketing communications programme to raise awareness and consideration of eCommera amongst our target market.
Supporting our sales execution through the generation of quality leads and the production of sales collateral
Manage the eCommera corporate website.
Building relationships with our key stakeholders – analysts, media, partners in support of our marketing objectives.
Management of the marketing budget.
Candidate Requirements
This individual will currently be either working in a marketing agency or IT services or ecommerce business as a head of marketing. Specific requirements include:
Graduate, with 5 years or more enterprise b2b marketing experience with at least 3 years in either IT or data analytics related services
Demonstrate success at building a brand and successfully supporting an enterprise sales force
Must have experience of working within the retail market
While not absolutely necessary ideally also exposure or involvement in ecommerce
European languages a positive plus
Excellent communication (written and presentations) skills
