Job Description
This is an important role within the Society, we need someone with the vision, the leadership qualities and the professional expertise to own, define, refine and drive through the online channel and MI strategies for the third largest building society in the UK.
As a professional e-marketer you’ve already achieved notable success managing and evolving online channels. Now you’ll utilise your expertise to improve the performance of the channel for the Society and improve the online experience of our members and prospective members, to drive online sales and ensure our 1 million members and our intermediaries are getting the high-quality online services they deserve.
With responsibility for the consumer website, online banking site, intermediary site, off-site PPC and SEO, you will own the online channel internally, influencing everyone from the shop floor to Board level. Using internal and marketplace reviews, you’ll develop and improve all elements of the Coventry’s online presence with the aim of delivering and optimising sales. You will also manage the planning, development and implementation of all agreed initiatives.
You will also bring your wealth of experience to our marketing data team, managing the department’s MI requirements and campaign deliverables. Providing strategic direction and management to this crucial area, you will develop the team and add real insight to the department.
You won’t just bring technical knowledge to the role. Your superb relationship building and communication skills will allow you to implement your creative strategic ideas throughout the business – and achieve impressive results quickly. Ideally, you’ll have a background in the finance or banking sector. However, this is not essential. What is most important is your ability to drive through change.
