Job Description
Stickyeyes the international search leaders, are a well-established, proactive and fast growing search agency based in Leeds.
Dealing with many Blue Chip and prestigious Brands, Stickyeyes is well regarded as one of the leading online marketing agencies with best of breed strategies in search marketing. To facilitate future growth we are now seeking a Head of PPC.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Head of PPC will lead a talented young team of PPC Campaign Executives.
Previous hands on experience with large complex PPC campaigns is essential but full training on Stickyeyes internal management and reporting tools will be given. As strong sales background or the ability to demonstrate or evidence sales within current or past roles is essential. Candidates should be open to new ideas and techniques, have a true passion for the web and posses excellent analytical and Excel skills.
· Develop proactive team strategies for all PPC campaigns
· Identifying areas of opportunity and presenting a proposed strategy to take maximum advantage of it
· Assisting the Sales Director with the preparation of detailed presentations and proposals
· Day to day management of the PPC team output and performance.
· Mentoring team members and developing a culture of excellence and ownership
· Acting as the point of contact for the client and as a liaison between internal teams.
· Developing deep understandings of client business needs, proactively maximising the value clients receive from their existing investments and identifying growth & performance opportunities.
· Reporting directly to the Operations Director demonstrating the ability to successfully manage high-investment accounts
· Interpreting client reports and delivering cohesive and structured reports to the client. This will include developing face to face relationships with clients.
· Preparing ROI data, analysing, interpreting and implementing refinements.
· Implementing strategies within the wider search marketing offering.
· Out of hours communication may be required due to client request.
Candidate Requirements
· Be educated ideally to at least Degree level in Statistics/Mathematics, Business, IT or related topic.
· Be aware of developments in search technology and trends and update team members and management of emerging technology or best practices
· Be analytical with an eye for detail.
· Be dedicated to fast tracking their personal development.
· Be able to effectively manage and develop a team.
· Have a proactive approach to work.
· Have a strong interest in analytics with advanced knowledge of Excel.
· Have experience in account management within search engine marketing (PPC and / or SEO).
· Be extremely well organised with good communication skills.
· Be fluent in written and spoken English.
· Be flexible in approach to reflect ambiguities of agency working or market trends
· Be very strong strategically within online marketing.
