Job Description

Logan Tod & Co (www.logantod.com) is a leading analytics consultancy that will offer excellent opportunities to learn and develop valuable additional skills whilst working on a number of high profile clients. We are currently looking for two Insight Consultants (one junior and one senior) to work in our Covent Garden office.

These posts are suitable for experienced web analytics/data analysts with a proven track record of using data to drive business improvement.

At the heart of the company are a team of industry leading Insight Consultants who work with all the leading web analytics tools to help clients really understand what is happening on their website and how to meet their business goals.

To succeed in the role of Insight Consultant you will:

  • Be highly numerate

  • Have an inquisitive and open minded approach when applying analytics
  • techniques to business questions
  • Have the ability to persuade senior executives of the business case for implementing your data driven recommendations
  • Have a rigorous approach to analysis that ensures accuracy as well as insight
  • Have excellent communication skills

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with a variety of web analytics tools (including Omniture SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, Coremetrics and Web Trends)
  • Identifying the key metrics and analyses that lead to genuinely actionable insight
  • Building impactful web analytics dashboards and reports
  • Scoping web analytics tool implementation and reporting requirements
  • Transforming data into insightful and actionable recommendations
  • Keeping up to date with the latest analytics techniques and educating other members of the team regarding the most effective analysis tools and techniques

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • A/B and Multivariate test design, implementation and analysis
  • Applying statistical and data mining (predictive analytics) techniques to multichannel datasets
  • Web analytics based attribution modelling to determine online marketing optimisation actions and best practice
  • Customer insight and satisfaction survey design, implementation and analysis

Candidate Requirements

Expected Experience

 

  • A minimum of two years experience with web analytics tools or equivalent experience
  • A proven track record of using data/web analytics to generate actionable insight and improve business performance

The following are highly desirable, but not compulsory

 

  • Experience of A/B and Multivariate testing tools and analysis
  • Broad range of experience with statistical/data mining techniques
  • Experience of digital marketing campaign management or analysis

Exceptional candidates without web analytics, but with similar experience in related roles will be considered.
