Our client is an International Technology and Marketing services provider that specialises in helping world-leading brands engage with and monetise their social media audience.

Their investment in technology has resulted in incredible growth, from a turnover of £3 million a few years ago; they are on track to achieve a turnover approaching £240milion. They have also embarked on a major International expansion project and have already established successful offices across the US and all major European countries.

These are one of the most progressive and exciting clients we deal with. The working environment is fast paced, dynamic, fun, yet incredibly focused on achievement. In the first year of entering they featured in the upper echelons of the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to work for.

There is a need to expand the commercial team significantly this year with a requirement of 50 new heads. The bar has been set high and you will need to be a top performer within this market to be considered.

The Role:

We are urgently searching for a top class Client Services Director to lead a talented team. Your focus will be on developing a portfolio of new clients to ensure revenue is maximised.

This is a high-value, consultative sales environment where you will be dealing with C–level contacts. Thus, you will be exceptionally confident in your abilities and possess unwavering confidence, without being arrogant.

The client base is made up of major global brands that have the potential to turn into £multi-million accounts if networked and managed well. 75% of your time will be spent networking at Director-level. The remainder of your time will be spent ensuring your team exceed the client’s expectations.

This is a P&L responsible for your own business unit and your success will be measured on its profitability. You will also manage a team of between 8 and 10 people.

Candidate Requirements

It is essential you have in-depth experience of social media space, particularly around large scale engagement strategies. Equally, you will need a strong grasp of the entire digital landscape.

This is not a traditional agency Account Director role as they do not run contracts with their clients. There model is performance based, so most roles tend to be more sales focused. It is imperative results are achieved.

We are keen to hear from candidates with strong digital media owner backgrounds or from strong independent, specialist agencies.
