Job Description
If you’re commercially minded, have a good eye for detail and a flair for online marketing, we’ve got the ideal role for you here at Mothercare.
For 50 years, parents and parents-to-be have visited our stores for quality products and trusted advice. But shopping patterns change – and our focus now is on being the leading online retailer in our niche markets. Following the successful launch of optimised versions of our websites, we’re embarking on a fast-paced programme within our direct business to combine these websites with our in-store offering.
Working within our E-Commerce team, you’ll make a real contribution towards driving online traffic and customer acquisition as you assist in the execution of all of our online marketing activity, including search, affiliate, price comparison, portal and SEO. You’ll also help manage the relationship with our online marketing agencies. Managing, reviewing, refining and analysing our campaigns will be important too, as will implementing an affiliate programme, producing marketing calendars, promotional tools and much, much more.
Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for an analytical yet flexible team player whose marketing knowledge includes some experience of website sales, conversion and campaign effectiveness. Happy to multi-task and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, you must know how to test & launch online promotions and incentives and, above all, believe in pulling together, owning it and getting the job done.
