Job Description

West End Theatre Bookings Ltd are London’s fastest growing ticket agency.  Online sales represent an ever-increasing share of our total business following recent investment in two market-leading theatre websites www.uktickets.co.uk and www.westendtheatrebreaks.com

To build on our recent growth we are looking to appoint an Online Marketing Manager to manage the development and promotion of our online properties.

Key responsibilities:

SEO – Working with our development team and web editor to optimise on-page optimisation. Day to day management of our SEO agency for link development and other tactical campaigns
PPC – Day to day management of our PPC campaigns working with our dedicated agency. Adjusting bid strategy and creative based on current offers, prices and competition.
Email Marketing – Work with the Marketing Assistant to manage and develop our program of email communications to encourage
Affiliate Marketing – Work with the Marketing Assistant to oversee our work with direct affiliates and our appointed network
Usability & conversion rate optimisation – Work with the Marketing Director and development team on usability and multivariate testing to optimise the website conversion rate
Social Media – Enhancing our early forays into social media via Twitter, Facebook and other networks
iPhone Application - Work to promote our iPhone application to drive downloads and bookings

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience in online marketing. We would welcome applications from candidates with specialist experience in one or more of the above areas looking to broaden their role.

The role will be responsible for a significant marketing budget and as such we are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience of generating great return on investment from online campaigns.

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and have excellent spoken and written English. Basic design and HTML skills are desirable. The ability to work on your own initiative is a highly desirable quality.  An interest in the theatre is not a prerequisite for the job, though there the successful applicant will have numerous opportunities to attend!
