The Internet and New Media Team drives strategy for internet and new media across the whole Charity and aims to meet the needs of people who want to engage with us and each other online. Our work involves many diverse projects working with at least nineteen internal clients.
This is a fantastic role for an Online Marketing Manager to work in a maternity cover role in our innovative Internet and New Media Team.
Your main remit will be to work in partnership with team members, internal stakeholders and external agencies to plan, develop and deliver world-class digital communications that will drive income generation and information dissemination.
This will include championing use of the internet as a channel; developing online communications strategies for Cancer Research UK initiatives, and for above/through-the-line communications.
You will also work in collaboration with internal partners to scope, brief, develop, implement, and measure Cancer Research UK online communications whilst also managing a team to work on those programmes.
Candidate Requirements
You will come with excellent knowledge of all channels within the online marketing mix, from a creative and media perspective, and, demonstrated ability to deliver effective digital communications and improving campaign performance.
You will also be a creative, energetic & passionate communications expert with core online marketing and strong staff management skills.
The ability to create compelling visions and to develop and execute strategy into practical marketing activity is essential.
