Job Description
Overall Objectives
We are looking for a good all-round online marketing person to report into the Customer Insight Manager, with specific experience in managing and delivering paid search campaigns on Google, Yahoo! and MSN and web analytics.
You will be responsible for the management of in-house PPC campaigns including development, delivery, evaluation and enhancement of all aspects of the PPC campaigns and provide Customer Insight and other business departments with relevant analysis of the business website to help identify opportunities to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
Role Specifics:
- Provide support for the Customer Insight Manager
- Maximising the return on investment and profitability across all PPC campaigns
- Keyword analysis and selection
- Monitoring, tracking, and analysing performance of PPC campaigns. Maintaining an awareness of the commercial impact of advertising campaigns and the revenue they generate.
- Taking decisions based on analysis of performance and action any changes.
- Working autonomously to identify areas of opportunity and areas for improvement.
- Help design, generate and manage reports that provide insight into the performance of the websites and marketing initiatives.
- Manage the customer database ensuring it provides good clean data.
- Develop recommendations to optimise data analysis to aid decision making.
- Help manage test strategies on initiatives to optimise web site trading and marketing.
- Analyse new technological or business solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business and its customer base.
- Help measure customer sentiment and other satisfaction metrics across the business, seeking to improve loyalty and increase brand influence.
- Be aware of competitor online activity and contribute insight into emerging customer and retail trends.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in PPC marketing and data analyst or equivalent.
- Experience in online / digital metrics & reporting.
- Working knowledge of search engine optimisation and paid search engine marketing software and bid management systems such as Google Adwords, Yahoo! and Omniture SearchCenter.
- Good attention to detail
- Good communications skills
- Good PPC copywriting skills
- Great data and statistical analysis skills.
- A comprehensive knowledge of website analytics packages such as WebTrends, Omniture, Coremetrics, Google, etc.
