Job Description
We are looking for a temp-to-perm Print and Web Graphic Designer to develop and implement the creative assets to be used across all our corporate marketing materials. As this is a brand new role the successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to be a major influence on the development of our branding at a time of expansion.
Responsibilities are as follows;
- Own the process of creating a variety of marketing communications including printed reports, corporate literature and exhibition materials. This will involve everything from graphic design to typesetting and production.
- Provide web ready graphics to developers for incorporation into web projects.
- Ensure that all creative elements within our marketing collateral e.g. PowerPoint presentations, letterheads, business cards etc are developed to stay ‘on brand’ as the company evolves.
- In the medium-term, create assets on behalf of our extensive client base.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants will have at least 2 years design experience working in a similar role. We need confident, hard working people who are excited about the prospect of playing a major role within a fast growing business.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in using Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is essential.
- Some knowledge of creating HTML emails would be advantageous.
- Experience in using Flash and/or JavaScript would be an advantage.
- Experience in creating artwork to print ready standard.
- Worked with 3rd party suppliers e.g. printers and web developers.
- A strong portfolio of marketing materials that they have created in the past.
- A keen sense of what makes for great design, layout and typography.
