Job Description
You will be joining a growing search team in a full-service agency environment at Banner. Our clients are technology companies that market to both business and consumer audiences, ranging from the likes of Autodesk reaching architects and engineers (even in countries like India and Russia) to sales-driven consumer campaigns for Trend Micro’s internet security software in the UK. The search team sits within the media department which consists of people that are both international and passionate about technology. We are looking for a search account executive to join the team, reporting directly to the search director.
The job role incorporates the following responsibilities:
· Planning (keyword research, copy, ad group structures) and optimisation of pay-per-click search campaigns across EMEA on a day-to-day basis.
· Analysing and reporting of campaigns and communicating actionable insights to the clients based on the results, whether it’s from a branding or ROI POV.
· Nurturing and developing relationship with clients for day-to-day requirements of search campaigns.
· Liaising with search and technology partners (Google, MSN, Yahoo!, DoubleClick, Mediaplex, Omniture, 24/7).
· Keeping abreast of industry trends and technologies and educating internal account management teams about search engine marketing.
· Communicating an understanding of actionable business implications of the search results
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
· A minimum of 1 year's PPC experience, ideally on an international basis and / or in b2b search marketing.
· Experience of managing PPC campaigns across all the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing).
· Detailed knowledge of underlying internet technologies that impact on search marketing (web analytics, big management, conversion tracking)
· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
· Confidence negotiating with senior level clients.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work and will have a strong customer focus.
· Good organisation skills and attention to detail
· Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
· A passion for search engine marketing
· Google GAP qualification
· Understanding and appreciation of the wider online marketing field
· SEO experience desirable but not essential.
