Job Description

The Search & Direct Response Marketing team will manage all key online marketing channels with a focus on SEM activities.  The team will also work in unison with the eCommerce Services group to maintain the current focus and initiatives within Paid Search marketing and to also help develop new pay to play programmes for the eCommerce Services group to offer to hotels and regional teams on an "opt-in" basis.

 

The team will set the strategy and execution of all online marketing channels including Paid Search, SEO, Affiliate partnerships, Meta Search sites and other travel channels that drive incremental business online.  It is critical to ensure activities are aligned and consistent with overall brand strategy, local property websites and landing pages.

 

Working closely with the Director EMEA - Search & Direct Response Marking this role will manage the day to day execution of the teams strategy working collaboratively with the relevant agencies to delivery against department goals and targets.  Constantly ensuring the agencies are focused on the optimization of all activity maximizing ROI and never exceeding any allocated budget.

 

 

 

 

 

Candidate Requirements

·       Specialist in Online Marketing with a strong background in SEM activities

·       Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing.

·       Ability to analyze perfomance data (i.e. financial, statistical and/or performance).

·       Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instill confidence in order to motivate and influence others.

·       Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

·       Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with core strategic goals.

·       Strong problem solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate.

·       Ability to collaborate with others and act in an objective manner in order to effectively solve problems and stay on track towards accomplishing organizational goals.

·       Proficient web analytics (i.e. technical) skills with the ability to quickly learn new programs and train staff.

·       Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.

·       Knowledge of business mathematics, including ability to calculate percentage changes and averages/weighted averages; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including ability to understand/manipulate basic spreadsheets.
