Job Description

 

Project Metal is the codename for a new Next Fifteen digital agency. As part of the Next Fifteen Communications Group plc, an AIM listed company, Project Metal will be part of a group of public relations agencies that have offices throughout Europe and Africa, North America and Asia Pacific. Next Fifteen Communications Group also owns two research businesses and has an investment in a policy communications business. Between them, these businesses have 39 offices in 18 different countries.

 

The role holder will be the first Search Consultant in the business, therefore, the role will evolve over time as the business grows and develops. Working with two directors, one based in the UK and the other in San Francisco you’ll be responsible for defining and driving the search component of Project Metal’s core proposition and growing a team over time in both the UK and US. You’ll also be working with the other PR brands within the Next Fifteen Group (Outcast, Text 100, Bite, Lexis, MBooth and 463) on providing products and services as well as developing Project Metal’s own client base across all sectors.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

o  Responsible for defining and driving the search component of Project Metal’s core proposition through creating and developing search propositions using a wide portfolio of tools including search engine optimisation, pay per click paid search management and social media marketing optimisation.

o  Responsible for the provision of technical consultancy to internal and external clients on all aspects of SEO.

o  Responsible for carrying out a wide range of SEO tactics for client campaigns.

o  Accountable for the development of training materials related to core search techniques and the delivery of this training to other stakeholders across the Next Fifteen Group.

o  Ownership of speaking engagements and conferences on behalf of Project Metal.

Fosters a high performance team that is motivated to achieve company goals through active line management encompassing mentoring, day to day management, performance management and advice on development.

Skills

 

  • Experience of a wide range of disciplines related to SEO, including:
    • Search engine optimisation
    • Pay per click paid search management
    • Social media marketing optimisation, monitoring and management
    • Search engine marketing public relations
    • Online reputation management services
    • Blog strategy, web site design analysis, link development and directory submission
  • Experience of working with a remote team would be desirable.
  • Experience of working within an agency.
  • Understanding of the capabilities of social media and its ability and link in with search.
  • Experience of developing training materials and delivering training, which meets the objectives of the target audience, would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of other languages in which the Next Fifteen Group has an office would be desired.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Confident and articulate presenter to large and small audiences.
  • Excellent face to face and virtual (email, Skype, telephone) communication skills.
