Job Description
Summit are the UK’s leading retail focused strategy, online marketing and ecommerce agency, working with brands such as Selfridges, John Lewis, Argos, Comet and 3 Mobile. We have offices in East Yorkshire, London and a technology centre in Prague. Our exciting plans for the next three years will see strong growth in the UK and rapid expansion of our European client base. In order to be recognised as the ‘first choice’ agency for international retail brands, we are expanding our world class digital marketing team to work across multiple devices and platforms.
We are looking for a Senior Client Manager (SCM) who will be responsible for ensuring that client deliverables, as set out in original and ongoing briefs, are being fulfilled by the specialist teams, with the assistance of the Client Managers (CMs), who report into the SCM. They will also direct and manage efforts made to develop clients’ activity in consideration of their goals and objectives
They will undertake the following responsibilities:
• Team management – from highlighting resource requirement, assisting in recruitment process, inductions and development of CMs, to appraisal, mentoring and supporting progression
• Managing all client work, ensuring delivery, reviewing in response to client requirements and identifying cross-channel opportunities and project-managing deployment of new activity
• Managing client relationships to ensure clear, realistic goals and objectives are set by the client and understood and met by the agency
• Completion of timely and accurate invoicing – queries dealt with effectively
• Assisting with business development where required
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level or above, have the equivalent of at least 2 years marketing and/or team leader experience and will:

• Have people management experience
• Have problem solving skills
• Be strategic (as well as tactical)

Based in our our London office, or our brand new purpose-built offices in Willerby, East Yorkshire, we offer a salary of £22k - £36k depending on experience. There is an excellent opportunity for further development and progression for highly motivated people.
