Job Description
Job Board Enterprises (The IT Job Board), is one of the leading IT recruitment sites in the UK and Europe is looking to appoint a Senior Marketing Manager.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the marketing function across the UK and Europe along with spearheading strategy for future market development to ensure continued growth and success.
This role may suit a marketing manager looking to take on a more strategic marketing role or experienced campaign manager looking to broaden their career within a general marketing management role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate at the highest level and be responsible for formulating and directing the company’s B2C and B2B marketing strategy, which supports the achievement of site targets.
- Re-engineer the email marketing strategy to improve performance across the email channel.
- Build upon the existing Search Marketing Strategy utilising best practice natural (SEO) techniques and paid search campaigns.
- Monitor the performance of all sites within the IT Job Board portfolio against set KPIs.
- Research and analyse new territories to support decision making for future business expansion.
- Drive acquisition and retention tactics for both B2B and B2C markets through various online channels including advertising, PR, aggregators and affiliates.
- Work closely with the Web Producer to support the formulation of site strategy to maximise site conversions and enhance the user experience.
- Develop and nurture partnerships of mutual benefit with third party industry bodies and IT portals to promote The IT Job Boards portfolio of sites.
- Lead a team of 5 direct reports and manage the marketing budget.
Candidate Requirements
Skills & Abilities
To be successful, applicants must possess the following skills and experience;
- A minimum of 6 years experience in Marketing with experience in both B2B and B2C disciplines.
- Holds a degree in marketing
- Must have experience across online marketing channels including PPC, SEO and advertising along with knowledge measuring site performance through web analytic product suites.
- Must have experience in developing and managing sophisticated email marketing strategies and tactics
- Must have experience in managing a team.
Desirable Attributes
Experience in international marketing across The UK, France, Germany, Benelux and or the Middle East.
