The Search team consists of around 35 Search experts in both the PPC and Natural Visibility (SEO) disciplines. Working within the Natural Visibility Team of 8 specialists, this role has become available to offer exceptional SEO skills to a rapidly expanding area of i-level.
The SEO Strategist is responsible for developing and delivering Natural Search strategies for a range of golden clients across a variety of sectors.
This role allows for the combination of technical expertise, a thorough understanding of search engine algorithms, developments in Search Engine Marketplace and client facing skills.
The Natural Visibility Strategist is responsible for keeping clients informed with any new developments, working as closely with the client’s web development, marketing and IT teams as needed to ensure that the SEO recommendations are implemented and that clients are kept fully abreast of SEO strategy and results.
The role is varied, with other areas of responsibility that include:
- Natural Visibility strategic development
- Project management, implementation optimisation and reporting
- Working in partnership with Natural Visibility Specialists and other digital media experts across Display Advertising, Social Media, Affiliates and PPC Search to ensure best practice in Natural Visibility
- Client relationship management and facilitating training work-shops
- Never walking past a quality issue
- Fostering an open culture that facilitates teaching and learning
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ proven SEO experience is essential
- A sound understanding of Feeds and PPC campaignsProject and work-load management across teams
- Client facing experience as well as some experience of presenting in formal conditions at a senior level
- Robust reporting experience on SEO KPI’s
Technical Skills
- Extensive knowledge of how Search Engines index and rank websites work and the ability to translate this into concrete recommendations designed to increase rankings.
- Ability to code and understand coding in several formats including HTML, XML and other micro-formats (RDFa), RSS
- Understanding of site analytic tools, content management systems and e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of all browsers and operating systems
- Understanding of site analytic tools
