About the Company...
A retail group dedicated to the world of outdoor sports and equipment for the enthusiast who enjoys past times such as running, cycling and winter sports.
About the Role...
To combine your love of outdoor sports and your experience in social media and community building to manage the social media campaigns of three retail sports brands.
• Develop and manage a social media strategy for each of the group’s 3 retail brands.
• Build a community around each brand by liaising with associated clubs and associations.
• Develop a social media campaign that is truly multi-channel and work with the retail stores to encourage engagement with the in-store customers.
• Develop and manage their Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, plus new social media channels.
• Work with the marketing teams to update each brand’s blogs on a regular basis.
• Develop engaging content on their websites.
• Work with the SEO agency to ensure all social media content on all channels are optimised for SEO.
• Work with suppliers and develop competitions to encourage further customer loyalty through the community building activities.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends in social media and community building / customer loyalty
• Channel all customer queries and complaints and handle them through the community
Candidate Requirements
About You…
• Solid experience of building communities and social media campaigns
• Experience of using social media tools for engagement, tracking and listening
• Experience of blogging and writing engaging content
• Experience of online marketing and PR
• Good understanding of all the latest social media techniques
• A keen interest in outdoor activities such as cycling, running and/or winter sports
