Job Description
Selfridges offers an unrivalled shopping experience. Now we’re about to take the world of luxury retail by storm and recreate that experience online. As an integral part of our front-end Production team, you’ll help to deliver a site which blends world-class design with practical functionality and keeps our customers coming back for more.
About the role
Working within strict brand guidelines, you’ll produce production ready, consistent designs that optimise the customer experience online. This will involve everything from email marketing and their initial arrival at the site through to placing an order and ongoing account management. Working collaboratively with other design team members, you’ll support with both the delivery of the site and its ongoing development, devising best case solutions that are as commercially successful as they are innovative.
About you
Excellent working knowledge of HTML build and email marketing best practices, Photoshop and Illustrator, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative approach are vital in this fast-paced role. With proven design experience gained within a retail (preferably fashion) environment, you’ll be aware of competitor activity and able to provide insight into new design techniques within the industry. You’ll respond quickly to briefs, deliver quality results and be comfortable working to tight deadlines and budgets. A strong communicator, you’ll work collaboratively across functions and your commercial acumen will impress at every level.
