We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Web Usability Practitioner to help us develop and grow our already talented in house e-business team. And with the promise of significant investment and influence, the team has a high profileacross the More Th>n business.
As a key part of the team, you’ll lead the usability strategy of the website and contribute to the overall design and content of all web pages and digital marketing materials, such as emails and online advertising.

As a Web Usability Practitioner your main responsibilities will involve:
- Continually developing and improving in house usability practices and methods
- Faciliating regular studies through various different approaches and methods of proving Usability
- Managing the in house usability budget effectively, ensuring all planned and required studies are carried out within budget
- Managing the usability schedule so that the website, prototypes and designs in development are tested for usability, ease of use and customer experience
- Producing reports with recommendations to improve usability
- Carrying out expert reviews across the business
- Working closely with web designers, developers and online effectiveness colleagues to ensure that all customer facing mediums are easy to use and business effective
As a Web Usability Practitioner your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- A degree in CIS, IT or Psychology
- Understanding of DDA and WAI
- Web analytics skills
- Experience of running end-to-end usability studies
- A track record of successful implementations
What we will be looking for in you:
As you’ll have a high profile role within the e-business team and be pivotal in the building of the department, you’ll need excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. We’ll also need you to be highly IT literate and have an interest in effective web design as well as the usability.
