About Jon Asbury
Jon has worked for Halfords since 1999, establishing their B2B division, before moving across to head up the company’s multichannel development in 2005. After the success of ‘reserve and collect’ in 2008, ‘text and reserve’ in 2009, and free delivery to store in 2010, Halfords was one of the first to launch a mobile site. Since the launch of the mobile site Asbury and the Multichannel team have seen conversion double. Halfords has recently launched apps for both iPhone and Android phones. Halfords reported a 37% uplift in multichannel sales reaching 9% of Retail sales in its latest full year results.
