Simplifying Facebook Commerce – Being Social by Design

As people are social animals, it’s important to rethink the fundamentals of your online presence with a people centric approach. This session will introduce the idea of ‘social by design’ and discuss the methodology and platforms that you can use to simplify and monetise from your social media relationship, with real life examples of Facebook commerce and multichannel social integration.

Jonathan Cook, Head of New Media, Valtech
Jonathan has led Valtech’s new media team for the last 7 years and has specialised in helping blue chip companies to harness the power of new technologies to deliver better and more profitable content and products to their customers. Jonathan is the author of the White Paper Simplifying Facebook Commerce, which was recently featured in The Guardian. He also gave a speech at the last eCommerce Expo which was completely packed. Prior to Valtech Jonathan has worked for LogicaCMG, BT and ICL and holds an MA in Strategic Marketing Management.
