Total ad impressions served by Accipiter technologies surges to over 50 billion per month
The number of ad impressions served by AdManager Hosted increased by more than 15% over the previous quarter. In total, 24 Accipiter customers renewed their contractual agreements in the first quarter of 2005, increasing the number of ad impressions served using Accipiter technology to over 50 billion per month.
“2005 has gotten off to a very good start from a customer standpoint,” says Jeff Wood, vice president of sales and account management for Accipiter. “With such a strong start to the year, we have set ourselves up to grow our customer and revenue base by an even greater margin during the second quarter of this year.”
Growing company requires additional personnel
Accipiter has used its recent funding to hire additional personnel in sales, marketing, development, and finance. The company recently added a new CFO, a Director of Marketing, as well as a Director of East Coast Sales and Director of West Coast Sales to its growing roster of employees. By filling a Lead Generator position in its UK office and making additional hires in development and accounting, Accipiter has increased the total number of employees by almost 25% worldwide so far this year.
Increased marketing efforts serve to amplify industry awareness
With the addition of a Marketing Director and the hiring of VisionPoint Media, a full-service marketing solutions agency, Accipiter is well on its way to increasing industry awareness and guiding the marketing of new technologies currently under development. Immediate marketing efforts are focused on Accipiter’s participation in the upcoming AD:TECH 2005 event to be held April 25th-27th in San Francisco as well as the upcoming AdManager V8 launch and next release of VIBE.
