Tim Brown, Philip Buxton, Pascal Zähner, Joanne Cox, Alexandra Martin and Niki Stoker take new senior roles to drive ‘advertising intelligence’ on global scale.
Exponential Interactive, the global digital advertising company, today announced it has created several new global, EMEA and UK roles to deliver ‘advertising intelligence’ to brand advertisers.
The new appointments include Tim Brown, formerly general manager of Tribal Fusion Europe, who has been appointed as chief product officer, Exponential. He was previously head of ad product strategy at Yahoo! Europe and a major player in the expansion and acquisition of several ad networks, including BlueLithium and 24/7 Real Media.
Philip Buxton has been appointed as chief marketing officer, Exponential. Formerly a marketing trade journalist, Buxton most recently acted as global VP of marketing at Tribal Fusion. He was previously an independent marketing consultant helping digital advertising businesses including iCrossing and TagMan overhaul their marketing strategy and execution.

In EMEA, Exponential has appointed Pascal Zähner, formerly senior director, EU business development and operations for Tribal Fusion, to EMEA MD. He is responsible for continuing the expansion of the company’s business and brands throughout the EMEA region.
Tribal Fusion launched in France and Germany last year, the Netherlands in January and Italy in March. It also has EMEA offices in the UK, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Zähner has previously held high-ranking posts at Aibits SA, Mistrals Partners and National Bank of Canada and also been a board member of Real Media Inc, as well as CEO of Real Media Europe and Asia.
Joanne Cox joins as marketing director, EMEA for Exponential. Formerly global marketing director at Adconion for 3 years, Cox has held senior marketing roles at Yahoo!, Bluelithium, Freeserve and Real Media.
Alexandra Martin joins as VP, global people operations, Exponential and will be responsible for human resources across the EMEA region and global learning and development. Formerly EU HR Director at Yahoo! Inc, Martin has also worked with organisations including PeopleSoft, Dell Computer Corporation, Arcardia Retail Group and Harrods.
Also appointed is Niki Stoker as UK MD, Exponential. Stoker has been promoted from her previous role as senior director, EU account management at Tribal Fusion. She was previously a senior figure in the UK expansion of rich-media advertising businesses TangoZebra and Flashtalking.
