Intermarketing Agency has created Carers Trust’s first digital campaign, a digital forest supported by a number of celebrities including Michael Sheen, Hilary Devey and Lembit Opik.
Carers Trust approached Intermarketing to create their digital Christmas campaign to help them to attract new supporters and secondarily, raise funds. The digital forest site is a creative, fun and innovative way to help the charity to achieve these aims.
A user can go into the online forest at www.carersforest.org, plant and decorate a unique tree, and choose to leave a message of support and solidarity for carers in the UK. With full sharing capability, they can ‘share’ the forest and encourage friends and family to leave a gift underneath their tree for donation and to plant their own virtual tree. Their donations will help Carers Trust to support carers through the festive season and into the New Year.
The campaign is supported by strategic emails, a targeted display campaign and a social media strategy.

Traditionally it’s a time of year for thinking of others and we’re hoping that this campaign will raise awareness of carers and funds to help us support these amazing and dedicated people. This is our first digital fundraising campaign and we’re hoping the surge in the use of social media will help us to spread our message. Intermarketing Agency’s creative is colourful and eye catching and the fun of being able to design your own personal tree will hopefully engage both existing and new supporters to support our cause.“
