Global Games services company Babel has continued to strengthen its audio department's portfolio with an impressive line up of projects over the last six months, such as the eagerly awaited Juiced and MotoGP3 for THQ, Total Overdose for SCi, Stronghold 2 for Firefly studios/2K Games, The Guinness World Record DVD game for Zoo Digital Publishing, and Delta Force - Black Hawk Down for NovaLogic.
For MotoGP3, Babel cast and recorded top Eurosport commentators Toby Moody, Valentin Requena and Guido Meda, official Dorna commentators for MotoGP in Spain and Italy.
'Babel has provided us with great support on each title. It is a real value to work with people who have in depth knowledge of the audio production process, great project handling and communication. They have offered support and guidance throughout the life of our English and localised projects.' said Roger Carpenter, Director of Product Management Europe at THQ.
The growth of Babel's audio department has been led by Adam Chapman, a highly experienced audio producer, who joined the company 10 months ago as Audio Product Manager.
Babel takes an audio project from concept to final delivery, offering a complete end-to-end service extending from the essential pre-production stage through casting, recording, post-production and delivery. It includes FX and mixing and delivery, as well as in-country recording for multilingual projects. The company adds to this unique delivery by also providing full script translation and proof reading, plus localised QA services in a wide array of languages.
"Babel has been invaluable in the level of service and integrity shown whilst dealing with our product. The communication of issues, concerns and approach to the product has been excellent and has been aided by their knowledge of a publisher's time constraints. Babel has proved to be at the top of their food chain!" said Silvana Greenfield, European Operations Manager at NovaLogic.
Babel has built a strong network of international casting directors, voice directors, and partner studios to provide the highest quality in-country recording across multiple languages.
The company services also include full localisation, QA testing for functionality, localisation and online, and marketing services, for PC, Console, Handheld and Wireless platforms.
