What can I expect out of the graduate certificates?
The Graduate Certificates are designed to deliver a high level of professional competence in specific areas of digital and e-commerce. Sustained practical training delivers core skills, while structured assignments that address current business issues give you the opportunity to implement your ideas in a supportive environment and deliver value to your organisation from day one. You will graduate with confidence in your knowledge and abilities, and a more analytical way of approaching business questions in your specialist field.
I already have a number of years' experience in the field – will the Graduate Certificate be valuable to me?
Undertaking academic study relating to an area you know well can bring a fresh perspective, as well as consolidating your knowledge. Our training evolves with the industry making the certificates a great way to ensure you are aware of industry best practice and the latest developments as well as giving you an opportunity to learn from other organisations. Qualifications in these specialist areas are only just beginning to appear – gaining a graduate certificate from Econsultancy marks you out as a highly competent practitioner with up to date skills and a desire to keep learning.
There are a couple of areas I'm interested in – can I mix and match the units?
It's not possible to pick and choose specific units, but it is possible to combine certificates in two distinct areas to make up a Graduate Diploma if your interests are wider ranging.
Is there any funding available to help pay for the course?
The majority of delegates are funded through professional qualifications by their employers, but there is funding available through the Government's Career Development Loans, as well as some regional schemes - we're happy to provide advise as necessary once we understand your circumstances.
You should also be aware that there are discounts available for individuals planning on taking on the programs and who currently hold either a Platinum or Diamond Econsultancy membership of previous professional qualification awarded by Econsultancy and Manchester Metropolitan University.
Can I pay in instalments?
There are a number of payment plan options available for delegates applying and confirming their places early. Full details will be made available with your application pack and deadlines will depend on the certificate and intake you're interested in.
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions regarding cancelling your place.
I've been to Econsultancy courses before - can I count them towards the MSc?
Due to the specialist nature of the certificate programmes and their highly practical nature we are running specific training days rather than drawing the sessions from our public training schedule, so previously attended Econsultancy training will not count towards the graduate certificate.
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information and speak directly to the qualifications team for advice.
