Ben Rhodes is an experienced Chief Marketing Officer and business advisor, with an enviable track record in delivering growth and turning ventures around. Cutting his teeth in advertising back in the 90s, Ben worked on a number of high-profile brands and campaigns including Microsoft, JP Morgan and the launch of MORE TH>N.

Ben moved to MasterCard in 2005 where he led the award-winning Priceless advertising campaign for several years and launched contactless payments into the UK. In 2010, Ben joined Royal Mail where he was responsible for marketing including insight, digital, content, social, CRM, performance and brand marketing communications. Ben was Group Marketing Director for the £7bn turnover UK business for three years.

At Royal Mail, Ben’s mission was to win, keep and grow customers through integrated marketing across consumer and business markets in the UK. Highlights have included launching a £1bn media channel for advertisers, a customer value segmentation unlocking significant revenue growth, digitising marketing and improving performance 4-fold, and more recently transforming the digital estate and establishing a category leading social media presence.

More recently Ben has been advising several ventures in the Medical, Biotech, Agritech and Edutech sectors at the Oxford Foundary as they seek seed and series A funding.
