Advertising consultancy K-Zero is offering UK marketers a 'safari' through the virtual world of Second Life.

The agency is offering guided tours through the 3D environment for companies whose interests have been piqued by recent press coverage but who don't know where to begin in SL.

According to the firm's online safari pamphlet:

"The tour allows UK-based marketeers to quickly understand how Second Life works and explains the marketing opportunities available by visiting companies already there."

Many major brands have set up e-tail stores or marketing initiatives inside the 3D world in the last year.

Specialising in Second Life, K-Zero is inviting wet-behind-the-ears UK avatars to register for an appointment with founder Nic Mtham, to receive a tour of key destinations with a view to establishing brand identity in the world.

Mitham this week released a map of brand destinations within the environment.
