Those numbers suggest online Ads are costing about 20% of total online sales !

eg 2011 - $32B Digital Ad spend on $161B eCommerce Sspending.

That seems a high percentage to me ?

@Deri - probably a lot of spend in there from industries such as automotive or FMCG where purchases are predominantly carried out offline though...just a thought.
