Sore heads all round today following last night’s celebrations at the AOP Awards.
Econsultancy won in the Specialist Digital Publisher category, beating off strong competition from the likes of Sift Media and PaidContent UK.
Naturally, we’re all delighted...
The award rounds off a year of change at this end. The AOP said:
“With its stated vision to provide a leading global resource for training, research and events on digital marketing and e-commerce, Econsultancy capitalised on its international audience in the judging year with the opening of a US office, and an increase focus on social media through its relaunched website.”
The AOP Awards judges added that Econsultancy “showed a strong performance, effectively diversifying its revenue streams at a key moment to include internationalisation”.
The awards took place at Old Billingsgate this year – a gorgeous venue located right next to the River Thames.
Other winners included The Guardian, RBI, Trinity Mirror and The Telegraph. Check out the full list of winners.
Here’s to next year!
