In one sentence, what is your product/service?

Moovd turns the words you type into an instant kinetic typography (animated text) video.

What problem(s) does it solve?

A high quality animated video takes weeks to make and costs thousands to buy. If you decide to do it yourself, the tools and techniques are almost impossible to learn and master.

But now with Moovd you can type and click an eye-catching, memorable, conversion-optimised animated video for a tiny fraction of the cost, and it can be ready to deploy in a minute.

What are your immediate goals?

What were the biggest challenges involved in building the tech or your team?

The simpler, more powerful, and more useful a web tool, the more complex the tech under the hood.

Our team had to conceptualise, design and build a ton of interconnected moving parts into a seamless, scalable and stable system that’s right at the forefront of server, browser and animation technology.

How will the company make money?

Try and buy. We’ll be charging for video credits with discounts for bulk purchases starting very soon.

Our core team is based in Los Angeles. Founder, Simon Gornick, a BBC, ITV, C4 and MTV alum from London, leads a great team that includes former Microsoft exec, Christopher Lohr, along with Alicia Collins, our top notch social media lead.

Tech is in the capable hands of Infoshift Inc, an innovative, imaginative and totally dedicated dev team based in Manila, Philippines.

Where would you like to be in one, three and five years’ time?
