The best marketing in the moment is almost enough to cheer up commute-weary Londoners today.

I've rounded up 10 brands that have used Twitter, Vine or email to market in the moment and try to make the most out of the London Underground strike action.

If you've seen any more, do add them to the comments below.

Vine

Lynx

Email

Pizza Express

Café Rouge

Twitter

Jack Wills

Innocent

Soap and Glory

Loveflutter.com

Adidas UK

Get Taxi UK

Essentia Consulting

I had to include the best of the B2B offering.

We have certainly seen an increase in visits to our website and people submitting pictures of people they have had a crush on in their travels. Its not just the big brands who do well - us little guys do too!

And IanVisits.Com beautiful tubestrike map (great piece of content marketing) made it onto The Independent's website, it's a pity a brand didn't take advantage of something similar (or even TFL themselves...) http://bit.ly/1fqSJiz

I should also add Hailo to this round-up. It tweeted a fake TFL sign ahead of GetTaxi, so shouldn't be missed out.

There was a minor fuss made around GetTaxi's efforts as some suggested they wrongly indicated TFL endorsement.

I thought the sign was clearly fake and Hailo's own tweet could have been construed as an attempt at claiming TFL endorsement, too.

See what you think, compare with the above.
